The Forum includes representatives of all village schools, school governors, village churches, villages children’s centre, children and youth workers, parish and district councillors and those involved locally with older residents. It has meets on a regular basis, initially to prepare for the awareness week.
Following the week of events in April 2016, the forum met in May to evaluate the outcomes from and how to address issues raised and how to provide support in the future. It was decided to see if a new role of Mental Wellbeing Champion could be created. A small team took this forward and in October 2016 the Forum decided the local village community charity Hicom should gather the funding and recruit the Champion. The forum will continue to meet regularly to guide and support the work of the Champion and organise the next Mental Wellbeing Awareness Week which will be 7-13 October 2017
